Cassie
Cassandra Ventura, plus connue sous le nom de Cassie est née à New London, dans le Connecticut. Elle est le fruit des amours d'un père philipin et d'une mère afro-américaine. Elle a fait ses études secondaires à la Williams School de laquelle elle a été diplômée en 2004.Puis elle rencontre l'amour de sa vie en France Ferrara David ils vont bientôt se marier.





Et Cassie est subitement devenue une artiste à la suite d'une rencontre avec Ryan Leslie qui lui a accordé de lui enregistrer une chanson qui servirait de cadeau d'anniversaire pour sa maman. Ryan Leslie étant lui-même chanteur et producteur, il s'est associé à Cassie pour interpréter la chanson intitulée "Kiss Me". Il s'est avéré que la maman de Cassie n'était pas la seule à aimer la chanson et Ryan Leslie a donc décidé de faire écouter le morceau à Tommy Mottola, l'ancien président de Sony. Séduit, il a offert à Cassandra Ventura de devenir son manager et quelques semaines plus tard, c'est au tour de Ryan Leslie de produire son tout premier album. Cassie a été signée sur le label Bad Boy de Diddy après avoir entendu la chanson "Me & U" dans une boîte.



Avant de se lancer dans une carrière musicale, Cassie était mannequin pour l'agence Wilhelmina où elle a notamment travaillé avec Adidas dans la campagne publicitaire de la ligne de vetements de Missy elliot " Respect me ", le magazine Complex et des campagnes Abercrombie & Fitch,elle est très recherchée en matière de mannequinat.



La jeune artiste s'est vite fait une place dans l'industrie musicale et sa carrière internationale est partie pour durer. Cependant, ses premières prestations en direct ont fait l'objet de nombreuses critiques. Cassie était soupçonnée de ne chanter qu'en play-back.En effet, Cassie commençait tout juste à faire ses preuves mais son niveau s'est déjà considérablement amélioré.!
